A cave à manger in the heart of Paris’s 10th arrondissement, Le Comptoir brings together nearly 1,000 natural, biodynamic and raw wines — each chosen one by one and served in the spirit of a wine bar: you come here to drink beautiful bottles as much as to eat. An address for serious wine lovers and the simply curious alike.

The list

A wine list unlike any other in Paris 10th

Our wine list is built as a real journey through France’s terroirs — and a few European neighbours. With nearly 1,000 references, it brings together iconic winemakers alongside newly established ones, large historic estates as well as far smaller houses. A rich spread of estates, regions and cuvées, with many vintages too, from the most recent to the rarest.

Because we’re enthusiasts ourselves, we make sure our wines — even the most sought-after — stay accessible and fairly priced.

Clean and low-intervention wine

Our selection rests on strong, openly held commitments. We favour wines from organic and biodynamic farming, or natural wines, made with respect for the balance of living nature and terroir. Beyond labels, our first requirement is the rightness of the wine: straight, precise, digestible wines that clearly express where they come from, with no artifice.
